FARMERA is a data platform for integrated health management of livestock.
All measuring devices, sensors and actors will deliver and receive data to analyse, predict and maintain health and wellbeing of farm animals.
FARMERA will be the key platform for farmers and veterinarians to keep their animals healthy and produce safe food for the world.

MY ROLE
As the only internal lead designer for FARMERA, I strive to make the product a success. I am responsible for the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from discovery to delivery. I also provide strategic support to Product Manager and Scrum Master in developing OKRs and roadmap, as well as help building a strong and effective culture of working as a Scrum Team.

MY task
Develop a solution allowing Farmers to capture pigs movement:
- Move pigs (to another room in the same site/ to another site)
- Place pigs (from another site)
- Sell pigs (to slaughter plants)

- Sell pigs (to slaughter plants)

Understand the data flow
Together with SME and PM, we sketched out the whole user journey and data flow in the swine production life cycle to find out:
- Who (user) are involved?
- What are their tasks/responsibilities?
- What data needs to be captured?
- How are the captured data be used?

💡key takeaway
- Users are Supervisors (App) and Admin (Web App). Supervisors are responsible for recording movements; and admins are responsible for double checking the entries.
- Supervisors may not know where the pigs come from/ being moved. But admin will know because he/she is responsible for billing and cost calculation.
- As of version 1, data of moved pigs would only being carried over if the movement happens within the same site.

Scenario 1: Place Pigs from Another Site
New Pigs arrive. Supervisors enters information in the app. Option to indicate he/she doesn't know the source:

Route a) Admin sees in the Back Office that there is a new placement and checks if the number is correct.

Route b) Admin sees in the Back Office that the new placement source is missing and enters it.

Scenario 2: Move Pigs (to Outside and to Another Room)
Scenario 3: Sell Pigs
